Pool & Beach

Handwoven shade, fringed silhouettes and decorative boundaries can give a pool deck or beach setting its own rhythm. Explore designs for a cabana, a lounge terrace or a more intimate corner of the property.

A closer look at texture and form

Woven shade, close up. Repeated knots and layered fringe bring texture to an overhead surface.

A sculptural silhouette. Hanging fibre and a rope-wrapped trunk bring the palm form into the handwoven collection.

Start with the way the deck is used.

Look at the route from the water to the lounge, the places guests pause and the views you want to keep open. An overhead piece, a freestanding silhouette or a woven screen each changes that experience. The collection offers starting points; dimensions, material choice and fixing details are reviewed for the actual location.

The details to include in your brief

  • Sun, salt and seasonal storage

How much direct sun or salt spray reaches the piece? Will it remain outside throughout the year, or be taken down and stored between seasons? These conditions guide the material discussion.

  • Frames, fixing points and wind

Share the existing frame, available fixing points and site wind conditions. Who is responsible for checking the structure and installation? Agree these responsibilities before the design is confirmed.

  • Guest movement and visual privacy

Which views should stay open, and where would a woven boundary help? Include walking routes, furniture positions and the clearance around doors, loungers and service areas.

Share the details above with a plan or a photograph to begin the conversation.
