TUI Magic Life Bodrum
Handcrafted macramé shading, made-to-measure woven parasols and lace curtains for the beach, pool and lobby areas of TUI Magic Life Bodrum — delivered before the April 2026 season opening.
What the client needed.
TUI Magic Life Bodrum wanted to renew the visual identity of its beach and pool areas before the 2026 summer season opened. The goal: an outdoor décor system guests would photograph and share, reflecting the brand’s Aegean line, durable enough for the season and genuinely effective as shade through the whole day. The delivery date was fixed — the entire system had to be installed within the 17–19 April window.
How we designed it.
We mapped the site first for light and wind direction, then built a three-layer strategy. (1) A macramé shading line as the skeleton of the main axis — engineered for strong wind, hung on a stainless steel suspension system. (2) Handmade macramé parasols at the pool edge — modular, working as individual points of shade. (3) A collection point in the lobby — a display guests can touch and recognise, which gives them a sense of ownership of the pieces they have been sitting under all day. Every weave is knotted in natural cord rated for UV and sea salt. Installation was completed in three days without interrupting hotel operations.
