What the client needed.
For the newly opened Reana Beach Bar, the project centres on a single handcrafted landmark on the sea deck. The palm gives the open waterfront setting a focal point, with a scale that can be appreciated both across the bay and from the seating around it.
How we designed it.
The 8-metre palm pairs a rope-wrapped trunk with a broad crown of fringed fronds. The spiral texture of the trunk and the layered fringe bring handwork into a large sculptural form. Installation photographs document the work on the deck; completed views show the palm among the parasols and seating, with warm lighting revealing the fringe after dark. It remains Dimare's tallest palm to date and, as of September 2026, is still in place and in good condition.
