Adalya Bliss
Across rooftop, beach club and garden, Dimare dressed Adalya Bliss in a single handcrafted language — macramé fringe parasols, rope-wrapped palms and shaded cabanas, and a reed-arch lounge layered with crochet rugs and knit cushions in jute, cream and terracotta.
What the client needed.
Adalya Bliss opens onto three very different outdoor rooms — a rooftop terrace, a beach club on the sand, and a shaded garden lounge. Each has its own light, its own furniture and its own crowd, and handled separately they would have read as three unrelated properties. The hotel wanted one recognisable material language running through all of them: strong enough to photograph, soft enough to sit in, and durable enough to stay up through a full Antalya season without being taken down and refreshed.
How we designed it.
We fixed the palette first — jute, cream and terracotta — and let the form change with the space while the material stayed constant. On the rooftop, hand-knotted fringe parasols carry the light: the canopy is deliberately open in weave, so the sun draws a pattern across the deck instead of a flat shadow. On the sand, rope-wrapped palms and fringed cabanas give the beach club its silhouette and mark the approach from the water. In the garden lounge the same rope drops in scale — crochet rugs, knit floor cushions and tasselled pendants — so the softest version of the language sits exactly where guests sit longest. Later in the same season we added the entrance piece: a freeform fibre-art mirror knotted directly onto the wall at the beach entry, made in place rather than hung, so the first thing a guest meets on arrival is handwork.
