What the client needed.
Create a coordinated handcrafted package for the IQOS activation at Soul Rise in West Vancouver. The overhead fibre surfaces, parasols and poufs needed to share one colour language and be prepared for an international installation.
How we designed it.
Dimare coordinated the individual panel dimensions and assembly information, commissioned the separate steel panel frames, and completed the woven surfaces by hand in Antalya. Parasols and poufs extended the turquoise and ecru palette through the setting. Packing and export preparation supported the transfer to Canada, where the main pergola structure was manufactured and the site installation took place.

IQOS at Soul Rise, Vancouver
At Soul Rise on 29 August 2026, the IQOS activation formed part of the festival setting at Ambleside Park, West Vancouver. Turquoise and ecru woven surfaces, parasols and poufs brought a shared material language to the space. Dimare’s handcrafted contribution was developed and produced in Antalya for this installation.

From frame to fibre, by hand
The overhead pieces began with the dimensions and arrangement of individual panels. Dimare commissioned the separate steel panel frames and worked the fibre surfaces by hand, building hanging layers in turquoise and ecru. These workshop views follow the progression from the prepared frame and loose cord to the completed woven surface.

One palette across shade and seating
The same palette continued through two further product groups. Ecru handwoven parasols introduced a fine network of knots above the seating areas, while turquoise poufs carried the colour closer to the ground. Close details reveal the knotwork, joining and finishing behind the coordinated pieces.

Preparing the work for its journey
The completed pieces were protected and grouped for shipment. Woven surfaces and frame edges were wrapped, poufs were packed, and panel identifiers accompanied the pieces. Packing and handling formed a practical part of the project, connecting the work in Antalya with the installation team in Canada.

Light, colour and suspended texture
Within the installation, suspended strands created changing layers against the sky and surrounding trees. Turquoise and ecru shifted in emphasis with the viewing angle. The selected close views and colour study bring attention to the fibre surfaces that defined Dimare’s contribution.

The space comes to life
Visitors, music and daylight brought the setting into use during Soul Rise, headlined by Anyma presents ÆDEN. These views place the handcrafted elements within the IQOS activation and the wider festival day. Dimare supplied the individual panel frames, woven surfaces, parasols and poufs. The main pergola structure was produced in Canada; the festival stage and wider event production were separate project roles.
